My final contact with Carol — below — was so positive and joyful. We had walked together Sunday, June 5, and it was very special. She was so happy and proud that she had journeyed to Aunt Sherrie’s reunion for family women in South Carolina, and she had a fantastic time. She laughed as she showed Marv and me a picture of her grinning in the sun catching crabs on our Uncle Bob’s boat. We shared the delight of our two trips around Memorial Day.

It was so nice to get to catch up with you yesterday. I’m SO PROUD of you! – Your writing and that you were able to attend the Santa Fe work shop is really really impressive, inspiring and exciting. I’m very glad you had such a positive experience.
When you asked about Kim I completely forgot that for a lot of the reunion she was on her computer and phone handling the final details of a condo sale she was agent for. Hopefully that has all gone through for her.
Off to the Y, but thinking of you and sending love. Carol
PS – I wish I’d asked Marv how his class went. Next time.. Hope your day has many good moments.

Yes, I went to bed happy and woke up happy remembering our delightful visit! I’m so PROUD of you too! What an amazing and difficult road you’ve traveled so courageously to be able to enjoy Maui, skiing and Charleston.
We enjoyed your snap peas in our salad, quamquats for dessert and flowers on the table. Thanks!
Have a great day, and lots of love!
